Poured from 473mL can. Clear blonde with minimal white head. Grain with a touch of honey and subtle hint of hops. Super boring... must have been the only entrant in its award category.

A pale blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with light honey and corn notes, light grassy hops, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with light honey, light mineral notes, light oxidation, OK. Bottle at OttBottShare Dec 2019.

Good thick white foam on top, strongly carbonated gold on the bottom. Sweet lager grains on the nose, soft hops, pretty good. Flavour is mellow sweet hops and vague soft grains. Medium finish. Quite unintrusive but is good for those who don't like taking risks.

On tap at Mount Arrowsmith, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out biscuity malt, not much else. Flavour is gentle, with a touch of honey-like sweetness and biscuity malt. Not much of interest here.

St. Aug's. Light gold, bright. Medium head. Mellow slightly doughy pale malt nose. Soft and gloppy, with light bitterness, and a touch of fruitiness. Thin, touch husky and bitter. Ok but on the whole I hope Parksville was craving a 1992 blonde ale because that is what the Best Brewery in BC delivered.
