Bottle. Color: Clear golden to amber, frothy white head. Aroma: Malty, hop hints. Taste: Malt, grainy, quite dense body. Subtle notes of caramel. Sugary hints. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Moderate sweet, light hopbitterness. Nice Heller Bock.

Bottle courtesy of Gregor, HopDog, cheers! Had this at home, Sunday 18th October 2020 at home after a 56km cycle ride to/from Reiter Bräu at Wartenberg. Pours clear gold with a white head, malty nose (though subtle), soft in the mouth maltiness more strident here, nice sweetness. There is not a lot to this but it is very good all the same. Btw bottle states 7.5%

Bottle at Brauerei Keesmann. Cloudy orange, low white head. Malty, caramel, vanilla, some nuts, flat. Quite sweet with some bitterness in finish. Medium bodied. Not that easy to drink.

Bottle from Trembling Madness, York. Golden in colour, with a frothy, white, head. Floral hops, jammy stickiness, some candy sugar, crisp malts and a moderately bitter and boozy finish. Enjoyable.

Bottle from Hop, Burns & Black. Says 7.5% on the label. It pours clear yellow gold with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is sweet and sticky, oily, sugary sponge cake, iced donut, brioche and some grass. The taste is initially dry and grassy, then the sweetness kicks in, rich and fatty, almonds, biscotti, marzipan, boozy kick, iced donut and sweet sponge cake with a dryer, grassy finish. Medium+ body and fine, foamy carbonation. Booze and grass balance out the sweetness a bit. Decent enough for the style.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, 20200126) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, malts, sweetness, grain and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, malty and bitter. A pleasant clean malty brew with grassy hops and higher ABV.

Gold with a fleeting, foamy head. Aroma full of grass, cereals, and honey. Taste is mildly sweet with a warming and mildly grainy bitterness at the finish. Medium bodied. Entirely uninspiring.

Brewery tap, golden color. Malty, bready aroma. Malty, peachy, bready flavor, slightly alcoholic. Powerful, but the alcohol is hardly noticed. The beer isn’t world shocking, but deceptively drinkable.
