Medium, rather dense just off-white head over finely carbonated totally clear golden beer. Very nice nose, dominated by fruitacids and -esters, bit floral. Peaches are utterly obvious, vinous arrives a bit later. Superbly inviting. Sour, lambic-like barnyard odours. In the taste, the fruitiness is more subdued, but still quite traceable. Faint notes of sulphur, stressing the lambic-likeness even more. Outstanding! Another one Martin T has pointed us to in his book, and with good reason!

Bottle: Poured a deep yellow color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of tart notes with subtle apricot undertones with some vinous notes also clearly identifiable. Taste is a very easy drinking mix of subtle apricot notes with some tart notes, some oak with a vinous finish. Acidity level is well balanced. Body is about average with good carbonation. A superb wild ale with great balance and high-level of complexity.

750ml bottle (thx, Francis A.!) shared with Farees and Ash. Pours a slightly hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma is some stone fruits with some petroleum notes. Taste is some barrel notes and some fruitiness. Good.

On tap at Pit Caribou, Montreal on 2nd July 2017. Gold with off-white part-lacing foam. Hoppy fruity aromas with lactic touch. Fruity in-mouth with peach and plum. A touch of vinous grape. Finish is malty and fruity. Light to medium bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.
