Poured from 650mL bottle. Murky cloudy dark orangey brown with light beige head. Earthy caramel malt with dry grassy hops, mild alcohol. Dry bitterness hits without much finesse. Definitely a bit rough around the edges, but still decent.

Bottle, Legacy. Dark amber-brown, aroma has toasty yeast notes, rich caramel , earthy hop. Smells like English strong ale. Rich earthy strong ale, with a lot of hop bitterness but also alcoholic bitterness. Touch of chocolate. Kinda rough - most prime examples have a subtler, more refined character.

Bottle - Bitter toffee and caramel. Cloudy dark brown with a small white head. Bitter with a touch of higher alcohol and a long bitter finish.
