Bomber from work. Aroma is floral, wood, orange candy circus peanuts (thankfully this disappears quickly), gin. Pours hazy golden with a one finger bone-white head with decent retention and lace. Taste is moderately sweet, savory, hint of tartness in the finish. Flavors of Belgian yeast with notes of banana and clove, some coconut, wood, floral notes. Perfectly carbonated mouthfeel. Good stuff. I don't get the negative reviews at all.

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours golden with medium white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is yeast, brett, oak, juniper, grape. Medium body, grape, oak, light gin, nice dry finish, very good.

Pours a gold from a bottle, big fruity, herbal aroma, similar flavor, rather sweet but with a finish that starts leaning dry. Good beer.

Tasting at SF, Vancouver
Golden color, hazy, small head. Aroma of anise and detergent. Dry mouthfeel, huge detergent character, although the malt base originally was good, and boozy final.
Really offensive.

22 oz. bottle, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of strong gin upfront, with subdued saison yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, with plenty of gin and saison yeast. Floral and botanical-dominated. It's okay.

Bottle - Lots of herbal gin notes. Clear gold with a small frothy white head. Herbal and light barrel sweetness. What you would expect.

Golden. Thin head. There's a fairly strong gin nose, not much on the malts - a touch of biscuit. Lots of gin - it seems to be dominant. The underlying malts are ok, but with just a touch of biscuit. I'd like more complexity...not enough of that here.

Bomber from Belmont Station. Pours brassy gold with a white head. Aroma is suggestive of juniper berries. Med body or so. Flavor is gin/juniper with a little earthiness. Dry. Nice level of juniper. Seems to have a little heat - but that cannot be. Wonderful stuff. Fond of gin.
