Bottle from the brewery. Cloudy amber with a big, off-white head. Massive, Hoppy aroma. Sweetish tropical fruit flavours, with some oranges and pine resin, leading to a dryish finish. Very good.

Very hazy amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and semi dry, slightly soft. Fine minerally carbonation. Nice orange and grapefruit peel hops .Balanced by sweeter lime and floral things. Some pithy bitterness kicks in. Finishes semi dry with more citrus peel bitterness. Nice complex PA.

Bottle split at Craft Clerko Tasting, thanks to Bruce, 08/07/13. Hazed orange amber with a thin off white head that clears to spotting and edgeing. Nose is pine, bitter orange, grass, dank hops, bready malts. Taste comprises juicy hops, light grapefruit, orange pith, good mineral bite. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light hop bitterness in the finish. Solid Kernel goodness.

Bottle at Kernel. It pours clear golden amber with a medium white head. The nose is bitter-sweet, earth, light toast, orange, tangerine and marmalade. The taste is earthy, pine, crisp, light toast, grapefruit, mango, tangerine, hay and bitter-sweet aspect with a bitter, citric finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Smooth, fruity and pretty delicious.

500ml bottle from Sourced Market, St Pancras. Hazy orange gold colour lasting thick ivory coloured head. Tropical fruit and grapefruit aroma. Good mouthfeel. I means it’s a hell of a smack in the face of flavour. I think since they moved to the new brewery they’ve got the body of the Pale Ales better. Good firmness. I mean just so much flavour on the swallow. Light bitterness yet it’s there on the finish and it builds. Big sweet tropical fruits. Amazing really. Just I don’t know anywhere that does beer this good.
