Bottle - Belgian yeast, floral and touch of herbs. Cloudy gold with a rich beige head. Herbal and sweet with lots of belgian yeast.

Light florals and a little bubblegum like the second round after leaving it on a plate overnight. Hazy orange pour with decent head and lacing. Light sweet finish. Great balance.

Bottle: Poured a hazy orangey color ale with a rather large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of residuals sugar and a somewhat heavy malt presence with light hops notes. Taste is dominated by a heavy malt base with some residual sugar, light floral ester and some light fruity hops notes. Body is full and heavier then I had expected for the style with good carbonation. A bit too heavy for the style and lacking some attenuation.

650mL bottle, pours a cloudy amber orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of fruity esters and bubblegum upfront, and some phenols. Flavour is loaded with fruity esters and phenols, with a fair amount of bubblegum. Truly a lame North American saison with extra phenols. No authenticity at all and lacking complexity.

Hazy amber. Thin head. The aroma is that sort of sweet, gluey phenolic mess that you get from underattenuated "Belgian-style" ale. Sweet and sticky - shows no influence of Dupont yeast. Fermentation temp not right? Well, something wasn’t. Underattenuated and phenolic, with higher alcohols in the finish, and maybe a bit of earthy hop. Overall, the effort doesn’t really hit.

Draught at Moody Ales, Port Moody
Cloudy copper-amber color. Strong beer, full bodied, but also very sweet for the style, not much spicy yeast character, no Belgian character, expect a bit of that obnoxious American Saison candy character, and some vegetable (celery, pumpkin/squash). It tastes more like Callister than Dupont.
Not too bad, no flaws, but very uninspiring.

650ml bottle from High Point Liquor Store. Pours a hazy golden with a tan head. Aroma is slightly sweet, floral notes, spices. Taste has the same character, quite boozy. Interesting stuff, but booziness is too high.

650 ml bottle. Pours a clear amber with full foamy head. Aromas of dried bananas, muddled fruit, and toasted malts. Flavors of buttery, earthy and banana-like yeast pears, and toasted malts. Much fruitier than a Dupont. Malty, fruity, and creamy. Really nice, though would go more for a Belgian Golden Strong. Side note - nice lacing...
