Ieder jaar brouwt Jopen een nieuwe variant van Mashing Pumpkins in collaboration met SNAB Bierbrouwers. Mashing Pumpkins 7.0 heeft een mooie volle smaak van mout en karamel. Deze smaken worden aangevuld door de pompoen en de kruiden die in dit bier zijn verwerkt. Een perfect bier om in de stemming te komen voor Halloween.

Bottle shared at chriso’s. Pours orange-gold with a frothy white head. Also some floaties. Pleasant autumnal spices in the nose, some cake, baked squash, pumpkin pie. Medium sweet flavor with a little dry smoke, meat, some understated pumpkin. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderate sweetness to finish, nice spices, ham, dry pumpkin. Not bad.

Thanks bierkoning! Amber color, small white head. Strong "pumpkin", ginger, cardamon aroma. Medium-bodied. Alcohol, candy, pumpkin and spices in the flavor. Quite warming. I am not a big fan of pumpkin ales but perhaps alcohol is ok in them. Decent.

On tap at Beer Temple! Pours a clear gold with an orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has light spice throughout with earthy pumpkin and a grain backbone. Flavor has nice pumpkin throughout that combines with light spice and a bread backbone.
