On Tap at PreFunk Boise Black with a thin tan ring of bubbles. A great example of big clean and distinct flavors of dark roast and fresh clean biting west coast hops. Smooth and full body. Lingering roasty bitterness. Bold, aggressive, tasty, Very good

Taster at Growler Guys. Dark brown, opaque, small ring if head, lots of lacing. Roast grain aroma, burnt toast. Taste adds some coffee bitterness, dark and roasty. Another stellar beer from BB.

10 oz draft at Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon. The pour is a dark black brown with a small khaki head that leaves behind nice lace. The aroma is a soft toasted bread malt, along with pine and grass hops. The taste is a delicate balance between the toasted softly roasted bready malt and the fresh clean pine and grass hops. The palate is medium bodied with active natural carbonation and a cleanly bitter toasted pine finish. Delicious.

Med brown and hazy, choc aroma with minty hops, a bit creamy and with lots of bitterness and toast, good balance, fairly standard, you can tell it’s a touch stronger than most.

Bottle at Alibi Room, Vancouver, courtesy of Gerry
Black color. Intense aroma, roasted malts, chocolate, fruity hops. Full bodied, coffee and roasted malt flavor, a bit ashy, with light residual sweetness, followed by extreme resiny hopping. Still some harsh roastiness in the final, but it doesn’t spoil the rest.
Powerful.
