Tart fruity aroma, some spices, and some sweet malt. I find the o rely sweet malt is taking away from the light, bright fruity tartness. The malts I find seem to muddle the beer quite a bit. The finish is dry and quite metallic with some minerals also.

Bottle from Tanakaya. Amber coloured with a big golden fluffy head. Aroma is lots of yeast, bit of honey and sweetness, slight funk, bready malt. Taste is very Belgian, wheaty, yeasty, some herbal elements, slight citrus at finish. Full on boozy bodied. Very nice.

Bought as La Biere de Beloeil. 2003 on the cork. Light amber color. Malty, creamy aroma with a hint of citrus. Firm hopbitter flavor with hints of citrus. Malty and peppery, typical of Dupont beers. Long oily herbal hopbitter aftertaste.
