(Bottle, 0.75 l - BBE 02/2019, at Stadin Panimobaari, 20170311) The beer poured deep amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized, white and it lasted long. Aroma had fruitiness, Belgian style yeast, sweetness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, Belgian style yeast, earth, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, yeasty and bitter. A pleasant brew showing yeast flavours.

Shared with PaleAleRider at Pub Italia. Best before date is 04/2108. Couldy caramel colour with yeast floating around. Smooth-looking, light-beige coloured head that is creamish, with nice lacing. Aromas of yeast with caramel and hints of bananas, apples and spices. Smooth mouthfeel with light dryness that builds up with time. Taste of well-blended caramel, yeast, dates, prunes, apples, bready malts and grassy notes. One that gets better and better as it warms up, with lots going on.

750ml bottle. Cloudy, copper-ish red colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish fruity, jelly aroma, notes of red berries, hints of honey, a cereal touch, minimally dusty, yeasty spicy overtones, a floral touch. Taste is dry, minimally dusty yeasty, slightly sweet-ish malty, hints of honey, bread and cereals, a fruity layer delivers cherry and red berries.

Bottle from Systembolaget, shared among friends. Pours cloudy, dark orange/copper with rich, white head. Bready aroma with some dark prunes, hay, yeast. Yeasty taste with dark fruity notes, some toffee, hay. Slightly peppery finish with zest, spices and bread. Nice and a little bit different.

750ml bottle from 2014. Not a gusher.
Pours a semi clear deep gold with plenty of long lasting foam. Serious lacing.
Spicy fruity malty nose with an apple like presence that suggests dryness. Hmm. .that’s an expected quality from the style.
Fruity again with an almost tart flavour or 2. Malty and spicy and hoppy with the latter bringing a lot of dryness. I like the interaction between the malt and hops.
Medium body with very lively carbonation.
I expected something good considering the brewery; I was not disappointed.
