Can pour at East Side Beer Fest. Pours clear pale gold with a white head. Dry grass and black pepper on the nose. Flavour has dry grass and biscuit hops, peppery bite. Solid carb. Good stuff.

473 ml can. Pours a light gold color with moderate head. Aromas of fruity lemons and biscuity malts. Flavors of bitter citrus, noble hops, and crisp biscuity malts. Good.

Poured from the tap. Clear gold with small white head. Mild pils malt with some floral grassy hops. Doesn’t have that traditional hit of a German pils. Okay.

A hazed blonde pils with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with German hops, light mineral notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with Saaz hops, light mineral notes, pleasant and smooth. On tap at brewery.

Very bright, very yellow body without much carbonation and a rather modest bleached white foamy head. The aroma is a tasty lemon meringue cake, heavy on the meringue, but also lots of sweet lemon. The flavour is a mellow mix of grains and sharp hops with a soft finish. Could be sharper on all levels, but still a very nice new world pilsner.

Straw colour, some chill haze, with a thick head. On the nose, some fresh pale malt and a slightly leafy, herbaceous. Pale malts have a sweetish note, maybe a touch doughy, then finishing with a lightly bitter, herbaceous hop note. Decent pils.

Bottle from The Gull, North Vancouver
Mild aroma of grass and hay. Quite good malt base, crisp, a bit too much hay, and the hops are moderately grassy.
Quite good, worth trying again.

650mL bottle, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is quite soapy, with floral hops and biscuity malt - that doesn't smell right. Flavour is quite soft, with biscuity malt, subdued floral hops and a little herbal notes. Not very pils-like. Boring stuff, but it's drinkable.
