Bottle: Poured a black color porter with a nice brown foamy head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of peated malt is quite strong with light dry roasted malt notes also noticeable. Taste is a mix of roasted malt notes with strong peat malt notes with loads of smokey undertones. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol notes. Enjoyable but peat malt notes are quite strong.

Bottle thanks to Ferris. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is intense peat, smoke, wood, roast. Slick body, strong smoke and peat, woody, boozy, very complex, enjoyed this.

Sergey’s hunt; production 12/12/2016
Dark brown color. Very nice peat aroma, deep, burning, over the malt. Lean mouthfeel, good malt and caramel depth, moderate residual sweetness, and good peat presence that could actually make any beer taste good.
Excellent.

750mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out light smoky whiskey barrels from the barrels and a touch of roast. Flavour is wonderfully smoky, with a nice peat character. The islay shines bright, with little else to speak of. Excellent.

Bottle - Woody, peat and burnt notes. Jet brown with a decent light brown head. Lots of woody and peat notes, dark roast and dark fruit, touch of sweetness and a long woody.

750ml bottle (thx, Hugo V.!) shared at Brians office. Pours a very dark brown with a dark beige head. Arima is very peaty and fruity. Taste is similar, with too much peat and wood IMO. An ok.

Bouteille 750ml.
