Clear yellow/orange pour, with a large white head. Subtle spice, and pepper in the nose with light grasses and floral herbs. Malts are crisp and pale, refreshing mouth feel and carb, low bitterness more grass and pepperiness in the end. Decent.

Pours a clean, rich golden colour with a frothy warm cap, good retention and creamy-foamy lacing. Nice fresh grassy hop aromas and the sweetness of Belgian Ale yeast at first. Then, some nice fruity notes come out. The taste has a nice sweet fruitiness as well at first, with some hops showing in the finish. Maybe a little too much hops for a Saison that seemed to have a good start.

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a large, frothy, long lasting, white head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of pale malt, grain (possibly the wild rice), floral, honey, lemon rind, yeast, clove and a hint of black pepper. Sweet flavour of bready malt, grain (again possibly wild rice), honey, floral, bitter lemon rind, Belgian yeast and clove with a mild spicy, black pepper finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Not bad.

Bottle: Poured a golden color ale with a medium foamy head with limited retention and no lacing. Aroma of honey and light malt notes is OK. Taste is a bland mix of honey flavours with light cereal notes. Body is full with somewhat of an oily texture with medium carbonation. Middle op the road honey flavour beer.

Bottle from the LCBO (Central City Across the Nation Collaboration pack). Hazy gold with a small lingering white head. Nose is honey, yeast, wheat and some spice. Flavour is light sweet honey with a bit of grassy bitterness and spice leaning too far towards cloves. Mouth is medium and smooth with lively carbonation. 7-/3/5/3+/12

Cloudy blond color. Spicy aroma and flavor, moderately sweet with some banana.
Hefeweizen, decent, not a Saison.

Amber, has a yeasty nose with a bit of autolysis. Sweet, plasticy, with a hint of footy yeastiness. Poor.

On tap at Central City on Beatty, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of fruity esters and floral notes - nothing authentic tasting about this. Flavour is nothing authentic, with lots of fruity esters and a touch of saison yeast. Lacking depth and coherence. Not good.
