Dark copper pour, medium slightly off white head. Aroma is very bready, solid malts, lots if grassy hops. Crisp, and clean. Super malty, excellent example of the style.

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy copper with a medium, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, peat and bread. Sweet flavour of caramel malt and bread with a dry, peaty finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Very nice.

Bottle from the LCBO (Central City Across the Nation Collaboration pack). Clear medium copper with a small lingering off white head. Nose is roasted malt, toffee, smoke, peat and an overall earthiness. Flavour is a light+ sweet toffee with some dark fruit tartness and light grassy bitterness and smoke lingering through the finish. Mouth is medium slick with good carbonation and lingering smoky and lightly bitter finish. Nice balance. 8-/3+/7/3+/15-

Bottle: Poured a clear brown color ale with a medium size foamy head with light retention and some light lacing. Aroma of peat malt with light dry caramel malt is quite nice. Taste is a good mix between some light peat malt notes with some dry caramel malt notes. Body is light with good carbonation. Nice light ale with just enough peat to provide sufficient character.

On tap at Central City on Beatty, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out light peat upfront, with a gentle bready malt base. Flavour is soft yet aggressive on the peat, with lots of smoked meat. The palate is rather thin, but soft and delicate. Very nice.
