Nothing too special here. Light grasses, pale, biscuity malts. A true working man’s beer. I can see this being great on a hit day after a long day outside, but other than that meh. Low bitterness, but also low flavour. Some malts, light grasses.

Pours a hazy light-golden colour with a white froth head, good stay and some foamy waves. Mild sour nose which is pretty nice with a blend of lemon, grainy malts and sweet yeast. The taste is mild with the citrus notes, grain, mineral water and yeast. Kind of like a Saison but with less grassy hops in it. Quite a nice refreshing twist on this light beer.

Bottle: Poured a clear yellow color ale with a medium size foamy head with light retention and no lacing. Aroma of light cereal notes with some peppery yeast notes. Taste is a mix of light rustic cereal notes with a peppery yeast finish with very little residuals sugar notes. Body is light with medium carbonation. A bit short on complexity but good drinkability and nice yeast profile.

330ml bottle. Pours a cloudy blond with a large, frothy, long lasting, white head that leaves curtains of lace. Spicy aroma of coriander, lemon peel, wheat malt and yeast. Sweet, spicy flavour of wheat malt, coriander, lemon peel, yeast and pepper with a dry, bitter grass finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Refreshing, not bad.

Bottle from the LCBO (Central City Across the Nation Collaboration pack). Cloudy pale yellow under a two finger lingering white head that leaves some patchy lace. Nose is yeast, biscuity malts, a touch of lemon and some pepper. Flavour doesn’t live up to the nose and is quite muted with a very light malt sweetness, a very light grassy bitterness and a very light spice. Mouth is a tad thin with a prickly carbonation and a quick dry finish. Not bad, just dull. 6/4/5-/3/12-

Draught at Red Racer Restaurant, Vancouver
Hazy blond color. Weak, dry, with light spiciness. Not very good.

Dull and hazy. No head. Yeasty nose, with a touch of spice. Heavy yeast, not much fun or nuance here. Kind of dull.

On tap at Central City on Beatty, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy notes, with some spiciness from the spelt and toasted biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with estery notes, light earth and too high sweetness. Doesn't strike me as a grisette. Sweet, estery and lacking any depth. Bad.

Draft - Yeasty light bubblegum and banana. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Citrus and yeasty esters like the nose.
