Tasting at Matt’s
Cloudy brown color. Earthy and dusty aroma, light sourness. Earthy malts, some chemicals, light sourness, undefinable mess.

750 ml bottle. Pours dark brown with light head. Aromas of old wet wood, pepper, raisins, and wet malts. Flavors follow same with a good vegetal dose.Nope.

Bottle - Sweet caramel and butterscotch. Cloudy brown with and a decent beige head. Plum, butterscotch and a bit for fruity barrel notes. Light sour notes.

Medium brown. The aroma is figgy, the brown ale is evident, there’s eom woody notes. Tart in the finish, some disjointed barrel elements, but there’s some fruitiness that doesn’t work for me - the tart, barrel and base beer elements don’t really come together here at all. For me, the least composed of their beer thus far.

750mL bottle, pours a dirty dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of banana upfront, followed by vanilla and caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with banana, clove, light vanilla and caramel. Rather boozy and banana on the finish. Not sure what's going on here, but it's quite off the mark. Not too good.
