Saison Vert is an open fermented wheat based brew made with black limes, giving the otherwise bright beer a darker flavor profile. Layered with spice, citrus, earth, and even walnut notes, Saison Vert goes down easily with tremendous nuance. Several kegs will see out of state distribution, so look for both locally and across the country.

A hazed golden saison with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light banana esters, cloves, curacao, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light grassy hops, cloves, banana esters, light bubblegum, nice and smooth. Cask Days 2016.

Draft pour at Snallygaster 2014. Poured a dark hazy golden color with a small white head. Aroma was some light sweet malts, grassy notes, yeast. Flavor had some light malt, sweet notes, floral notes, tartness. Pretty enjoyable saison.

6 oz draft pour at Snallygaster 2014 shared by someone. Golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of floral notes, light funk. Tastes of light citrus fruit and peel, floral notes, light funk, herbs. Light body with a dry finish.

12oz tulip at Red Apron Union Market. Pours a murky marigold with a ring of white head. Nose has grass, malt, yeast, quite floral, chrysanthemum tea. Flavor is lightly sweet, crisp lemon, crunchy malt, fairly floral, dandelion tea, tart too, some under ripe fruit. Crisp finish, both lightly tart and lightly sweet.

On tap at Upright, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out some citrus, spices and Belgian yeast. Flavour brings out spicy notes, lime, and lemongrass. Interesting saison, with a very Thai-like character. Decent saison.
