A golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet biscuit malt with weird herbaceous hops, light dank notes, so-so. In mouth, a rather harsh ipa with herbal hops, light medicinal notes, light green pepper, unpleasant. On tap at brewery.

Poured from the tap. Clear copper with off white head. Chewy biscuit malt with some caramel notes and pine hops. Classic style IPA, slightly dated.

Wet sweet hops on the nose, nice foam and clear darker gold body. Flavour is soft malts and big hops overpowered by a vegetably bitterness. Pucker inducing and also lingering in a bad way. Eases up on further sips but that aftertaste helps nothing. Maybe for some, but not for me.

On tap. Pours a copper color with moderate head. Aromas of candied fruit with a definite tropical influence, light pine and toasted malts. Pleasant flavors of same with candied citrus and sweet malts. Light bitter finish. Nice

Golden-amber colour. Thin head. Earthy hop nose, and it has a nice toasty malt note. The hops are earthy through the palate as well - the brightness of the mosaic doesn’t really come through, just unexciting cascades.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Light amber color, clean, with creamy head.Clean beer, but very much old style; the malts are chewy even if the mouthfeel is rather dry, the csramel accent is too strong, and the hops, rather than bright, are very earthy, almost stale. Not a bad beer, but not the beer I want to drink.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear copper with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out light piney hops and some dry biscuity malt. Flavour is well-balanced, with potent piney hops, some resins and dry biscuity malt. Piney and dry, with good balance. Very good.
