330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 6.8%. Hopped with a blend of European, North American and New Zealand varieties. Deep golden colour, large white head. Aroma of citrussy hops, especially mandarin, also some catty hints, and some crystal malts. Smooth mouthfeel, moderate carbonation in the glass. The lightly sweet flavour is distinctly hoppy throughout, with a grapefruity bitterness, also hints of pine needles.

Amber with a creamy white head that lingers. Aroma full of pine with mixed tropical fruits underneath. Nice. Taste is full bitter with some acridity at the finish. Unforgiving. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Drinkable.

Can from Beer 52. Aroma is mainly pine hops with some citrus and tropical fruit. Pours a golden yellow with a foamy white head. After an initial burst of lemon and grapefruit, pine hops again predominate in the mouth. Finish is dry and hoppy with a hint of ginger. Excellent – this is what a proper IPA should taste like.
