Dry hopped pale ale. Sweet tropical fruits burst on to the nose and the taste is plethora of pine needles, citrus and peach accompanied by a smooth bitterness.

Cask-conditioned at the Barley Mow, Bristol 27/6/2017. Golden in colour, with a thin, white, head. Grassy hops, tropical fruits, a touch of biscuity malts and dryish finish. Good.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy orange brown. Nice tight lacy head. Nose - plenty of tropical going on and some citrus nudging its way in there. Taste - passionfruit and papaya. Lime zing at the back. Some resin persists. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - good pale.

Bottle from Bitter Virtue Southampton and drunk at home. Hazy deep amber colour lasting beige head. Lovely Simcoe aroma that mix of sauvignon blanc gooseberry and yellow grapefruit. Delicious really. I mean it’s a lovely apa. A bit sweet maybe but at least it has some malty backbone. I love the hoppy aroma. Not much yeast character. Malts are fine and a little caramel. Some bitterness on the finish with more lime and grapefruit. Good simcoe single hop beer.

Slightly hazy golden beer, tart citrus aroma. Tangy grapefruit taste, some bitter hop stopping it from being sickly. Would have been nice a bit cooler but not bad at all.

Very hazy gold - amber beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and has some modest carbonation. Thin malts, mild to medium sweet. Orange peel in to a mild but brighter tangerine. Some pith. Light dry finish. Not bad but never quite reaches lift off.
