Juicy, exciting fruit flavours before an intense bitterness as sharp as a Macaw’s screech.

Hopped with: Summit and Amarillo.

Bottle@The Globe, Copenhagen (Championship final Day) - (Export 4.8% version) golden Amber pour with white head. Sweet fruity and malty with some vague grapefruit and peachy notes, sweet caramel malty base, subdued hoppy finish. Pretty pedestrian stuff.

Bottle in Vancouver. Well right away on the nose this is nothing like the cask one I had in England, which of course was delicious. Light bronze colour. No head. Sort of an earthy, overripe fruit note on the nose, with a fair bit of caramel. Caramelly palate with some hop bitterness, but not at all the sort of hop brightness that I associate with this beer.

Bottled 500ml. -from Pivoljub Ljubljana. Without any Export on the label. Dark golden coloured, small white head, mild fruity nose. Moderate malty, some caramel, weak bready, mild citrusy hoppy and some floral notes with bitter finish and lasting bitter aftertaste. Not bad but nothing more than that.
