This black India Pale Ale is loaded with hops and balanced with delicious maltiness. It was brewed with our friends from the great city of New Orleans, the band EYEHATEGOD.

Dark porter like appearance. Roasted chocolate and a lite hippiness. Interesting but not memorable. Not a huge fan but drinkable

Bottle @ ZZT VII, thx to everyone for sharing their bottles. Black IPA with the balance towards the roasted or dark malts. For me lacks hop aroma. Still a nice drink.

Bottle shared by Kermis @ ZZT VII. Dark brown color with a nice red glare coming through, full sized good lacing, a bit creamy beige head. Smell malts, hops, lightly dark and roasted malts. Taste malts, dark malts, hops, bitter, lightly fruity. A bit off balance. Nice to drink, but not the best black IPA.

Enjoyed at Dorothy's in Chicago, IL while hanging out with my cousin on his birthday. Appearance cloudy dark brown with thin off white head. Aroma strong in hops and dark chocolate malt, smells great. Taste is abrasive and hoppy. Goes down dry and bitter. Great stuff.

650ml bottle @ Super IPA tasting from Mikkeller & Friends, Copenhagen
Pours dark brown with a small white head. Aroma of grainy malts, some fruitness with hints of lemon, citrus, vanilla and roastiness. Taste of pine, resin, some grainy roastiness and fruity hops. Finish is dry, bitter and roasty with some fruitness. Okay, a bit too grainy black IPA.
