750ml bottle. This is quite possibly the darkest, blackest, thickest stout I’ve ever seen. I love it. Pours like motor oil with 100k on it, in January, with a big dark brown head. Huge dark roasty Aroma, big burnt malts, some roasty brown sugar, loads of coffee, and some soy. Hops are minimal, but give of some nice pine resin notes. Incredibly thick mouth feel, luscious, with the consistency of whipping cream, and a soft carb. Finish is not as bitter as expected, comes in around a medium. Semi sweet, huge roast, coffee, and soy. Light cocoa powder, subtle fruit, and some warming alcohol. Incredibly. One of the best imperial stouts I’ve had in a long time.

Black colour, tan head, creamy. Good balance of chocolate and roast; the best trait of this beer is the smooth mouthfeel; moderately sweet, the alcohol is quite evident; if anything, it seems a bit oxidized; traces of liquorice.
Very good.

500ml (thx, Brian C.!) on Alex's porch. Bottle from Feb-2021 release. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: molasses, sweet, a bit of tea notes and roasted malts. Taste: along the same lines, a bit ashy. Overall: pretty good.

Carbonatation moyenne, corps moyen-dense.

750mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of heavy cocoa, phenols and dark fruits. Flavour is sludgy, with lots of fudge and coal. Too sludgy and thick, but still decent.

Bottle - Dark chocolate and roast. Inky black with a dark brown head. Molasses and dark roasty sweetness. Nice.
