Bottle at chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013 - London. Pours hazy gold with a light, white cream head. Nice funk on the snout, pale citrus, light dough. Light sweet flavor with lemon, restrained funk, sweat. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Clean and refreshing to finish with notes of lightly dried dough, lemon. Good dank factor. Good work.

ChrisO’s Pre GBBF ’Are You Scottish?’ tasting. Light haze on this gold beer, little pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and soft and airy. Mild fine carbonation. Good mellow sourness. Little woody geueze vibe. Balanced by light oaky sweetness and apple - citric fruits. Comes together well. Light dry finish with a sherbet apple aftertaste.

Bottle at Chris O’s pre-GBBF shindig, 2013. Yellow gold pour with a white head. Citrus, wheat, hay and pear aroma. Fresh taste. Barley, wheat and vanilla flavour. By George I can see it now- I’m on the farm, It’s been a long hard day and I’ve put down my pitch fork. The busty farmer’s wife is looking at me lustily from an upstairs window as I mop my brow. As my thirst needs to be quenched this is indeed the sort of saison that’ll sort it out. Nice (the beer not the farmer’s wife).

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013. It pours hazy golden orange with a medium white head. The nose is earth, hay, wood, sweet pear, melon, apple and spice. The taste is dry, tart, apple, pear, melon, hay, mellow sourness, earth and white grape skin with a dry, tart finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. I’m not a huge fan of the aroma, but it is rather tasty.
