At Chriso pre GBBF Shindig 2013. Gold amber lasting white head. Funky aroma. Yeah it’s ok. Not my thing.

75 cl bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is peachy, light grapefruity. Bitter, citric, tart. Dry and lingering citric finish, light fruity too.

Bottled. Hazy golden color, short frothy off-white head. Huge sour aroma, barnyard, horseblanket, citrussy hops, wood, lactic like a young lambic, bit spicy, green apples. Quite tart in taste as well, some caramel malts, hint of vanilla, acidic. Quite dry and crisp. Sparkling on the tongue, peppery. Very funky saison, which gets close to lambic style brews. Too young perhaps and not my favorite style, but still an Oersoep is worthy of my #4000 and they are going to surprise me in the future even more, I’m sure of that..

Tap at the Den Haag beer fest 2013. Poured a cloudy medium amber with a bubbly head. The aroma is big red berry fruit leading to a slightly sour, yeasty, citrus fruit flavour. Refreshing but not a classic for me.

Draft at The Hague Beer festival. Pours hazy golden brown with a small white head. Aroma of saison yeast, citrus, pepper, fruits. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Tap @ NBF13. Hazy orange to ruby colour with a medium white head. Smells slightly sour, fruity, slightly hoppy. Tastes fruity, sourish, fresh, strawberry. Quite nice. Thin to medium body, nice carbo.

Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Funky aroma, citrus, malts and fruits. Malty flavour, light sour touch, yeast, citrus and fruit. Rather thin body, fruity, light bitter finish.
Nice brew.

75cl Bottle at WWT II. Clear deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of a light Gueuze, quite funky, tart, citrus, mostly lemon, grapes. Flavour is tart, lemons, light gueuze flavours, grapes, tart-bitter finish. Light-bodied, crisp. Very nice summer beer.
