Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig ’13, 10/08/13. Hazy orange amber with a good sized off white head. Nose is dark fruit, orange, light spice. Taste comprises orange pith, straw, light spice, bready malts, bitter citrus fruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finale. Pretty so so as saisons go.

ChrisO’s Pre GBBF ’Are You Scottish?’ tasting. Almost clear dark gold beer. Little off white head. Light fluffy palate. Light yeast, a little perfumey. A little spice. Light dry finish. Meh!

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013. It pours hazy golden orange with a medium white head. The nose is sweet, orangey, peach, tangerine, spice, hay, pear, and melon. The taste is earth, tangerine, apricot, spice, toast, grain and decent bitterness with a dry, citric finish. Medium body and moderate+ carbonation. A solid saison.

75 cl bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is estery and peppery. Dry, phenolic and peppery. Bitter and light herbal. Dry and phenolic finish.

Tap @ Kafe Belgie. Clear yellow colour, medium white head. Nose is light malty, light hopped, a bit yeasty. Flavour is light malty, citric, slightly yeasty. Finish is slightly bitter and dry.

Tap at the Den Haag beer fest 2013. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeasty malt. The flavour is medium bitter a little hoppy especially in the finish and with some malt and yeast. Tasted like a zesty pilsner I have to say, but a very decent one!

Bottle from Burg, BB 10-05-2015, large sample. Slight hazy golden color, big rocky slight off-white head. Aroma of slight flowery hop, bit grassy, soft peppery yeast, slight grainy malt. Quite dry in taste, slight fruity sweetness, bit citrussy bitterness. Medium to high in carbonation, thin body. Nicely balanced. Much better than the last time I rated it. Tap @ Nijmegen. Clear yellow color, medium white head. Aroma of soft grassy hop, some saison yeast, slight peppery. All very soft. Medium dry taste, slightly bitter. Easy drinker, but lacks a bit of flavor. I want that brett back! :-) 2.9

Bottle 750ml. corked @ Tasting by Benzai [ ZZT V ].Unclear medium orange colour with a average to large, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity, moderate hoppy, dry hop flowers, citrus notes, moderate yeasty, saison yeast. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet, light acidic and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity, yeasty, peppery. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121006]
