Pale gold colour and hoppy aroma. Hoppy bitterness at the beginning, followed by a medium level of maltiness. Finishes with a fruity-grapefruit flavour.

355ml can, third beer from a mixed pack (3 different, 2 of each), bought for me by my Canadian friends who don't really know about beer. This was the last variety in the pack and just about the best of the bunch. Drank on their patio in Victoria, Vancouver Island on 12th August 2025. Clear light golden body, white crown. Grapefruit aroma and flavour to the fore, fairly bitter throughout.

Poured from 355mL can. Clear gold with big white head. Mild cabbage, pine hops, oxidized. Meh (glad it was free from work).

Modest weak head and clear darker yellow body. Very soft aroma of muddled spinach and some cabbage. Flavour is a very sweet lager, lots of sugar, no hops showing through. Sweet on the mouth. This thing is not firing on any cylinders.

Can - Light citrus and some pith. Clear gold with a frothy white head. Light citrus and caramel with a dry finish. Not half bad.

Props to Bowen Island for making a beer that tastes at least mildly like a pale ale, though the india moniker is a stretch. Orange clear, tinny astringency at end.

Can, pours clear copper. Aroma and flavour of grass and a strange, off-putting vegetable-like quality - hardly hoppy, more grainy. Poorly made.
