Hazy bright yellow-gold with a large soapy white head. Tart, citric, yeasty and salty. Medium finish and body.

Refrigerated 16 oz. aluminum can poured into glass. Hay pale golden with small white head. Aroma is salty/tart, medium body, medium carbonation, and pretty good small-bubble lacing. Taste is brine, citrus, and tart. Pretty good really.

Pounder: Faint lemon nose. Hazy yellow, thick head, good lace. Lemon. Watery, light body, soft carbonation. Tastes fine, just not a lot of personality

330mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out of citrus, dirty wheat and some cardboard. Flavour brings out light citrus, a little salt, and some wheat. Finishes salty and citric. Not the most intriguing gose, but works decently well.

From mu frere: pours hazy light orange with a white head. Aroma is apricot and lemon and stuff. Taste is slightly sour with a large fruitiness. Slight salt. Weird for a gose but still good for a gluten free beer.

Bottle - Lemon, lime and some odd grainy spice. Clear gold with some significant sediment. Very salty, some sweetness and tons of lemon/lime citrus. I am on the fence with this one, it is refreshing but also out of balance and odd for a Gose.

Hazy copper and bronze coloured body with a light head, about two centimetres tall and a fairly chunky and sediment filled bottom of who knows what? Yeast for sure, and not-grain. Aroma of lightly soured yeast, some brett and lactic sugars along with a bit of malt and some serious funk - this is strong smelling and not so great. Light to Medium-bodied; Super bittered flavour of sourness and pure funk with a deep odd flavour with malt or whatever is in here, plus the alcohol. Aftertaste is not so great as well, with some light sour and salty notes, but a lot of bitterness, funk and some odd notes - interesting, at least. Overall, a very odd beer that seems about right - a gose made without grain, but this doesn’t work so well. I had a genuine interest in how this one would be, but I wish I drank it locally and didn’t fly with it, to save my suitcase for better beer from Quebec. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Au Coin Duluth in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on 18-September-2016 for CA$3,29 sampled at home in Washington on 13-October-2016.

Bottle: Poured a hazy dirty yellow color Gose with a nice large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of lemon and tart notes is pretty enticing. Taste is a mix of lemon notes and tart notes with light grainy notes. Body is full with less filtration then I am used for Gose with good carbonation. Solid take on the style and love the lemony notes.
