Black color, small head. Strange aroma, rough, roasted malts, dust, stale. The flavor is anonymous, there is some caramel, not evident if it’s a Stout or a Porter, anyway there is a suspicious sourness that indicates infection.

Light brown. Very coffee nose. Tart, cherry, with a touch of sour coffee. Goes nowhere...faults.

650mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown / black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and dry coffee. Flavour brings out some light tartness, but there is almost enough body to mask, with coffee and dry toasted malt. It's alright overall, but there are some obvious discernible flaws. Decent, but flawed.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear dark brown with a tan head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has earthy dark grains, light must and dry roasted malts. Flavor has a nice roasted malt note with dark grains and a touch of dryness.

Bottle - Burnt roast and coffee notes. Deep brown with a small white head. Burnt notes and some light sour notes. This bottle is off.

Purchased on my Nova Scotia tour. Pours a brown colour with a small head and a little lacing. Full aromas of coffee. The taste is coffee with some dark fruits in the middle. Nice bitterness and dryness in the mouthfeel. The coffee from the Full Stream and full trade is quite a nice plus to this brew. Quite beautiful !!
