Bottled 500ml (from the brewery) Opaque colour, small brownish steady head. Sticky tasted aroma with some bourbon and tartness. Medium-bodied. Roasted, some coffee and bourbon but also some tartness. Not aged so well. Tolerable

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of black chocolate notes with some bourbon notes with some vanilla notes and light residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of black chocolate notes with some bourbon notes and light vanilla with some residual sugar notes also noticeable. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad but not the most tasteful base beer with some barrel-aged notes that could be more accentuated.

In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with loads of bourbon barrel notes, woody notes, alcohol warmth, vanilla extract, very nice. On tap at Brother?s Beer Bistro.
