Keg, 130ml taster at Zerodegrees - Bristol. Snow white head, laces well, a wheat haze to a yellow-gold coloured body. Spiced banana on the nose. Taste of vanilla sweet ripe banana and clove. Gets a tad too sweet in the long run. (30.04.2017).

Draught at the brewery (Reading) on February 27, 2017. Hazy golden color, white head. Slight banana, sweet, malty scent. Sweet, malty taste. Medium to fizzy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Reading. Flight. 01/11/16. Sour aroma. A hint of yeast. Light Amber. Slightly hazy. Bitter. Really sour edge. Not getting what I’d expect. Soft and creamy. The sour aftertaste is annoying. Really bad attempt at this style.

Keg at Zerodegrees Reading. In the absence of any new specials at the venue I was all ready to re-rate this "regular" beer when I noticed that I’d never actually rated in the first place, despite having drunk it several times. Weird. Slightly hazy orange in hue with a white head and a light fizz. Obvious banana up front is not overwhelming and allows sweet orange and bread dough to come through. Some light clove in the aftertaste. Reasonably full bodied and less cloyingly banana-ey than some in the style. A pretty good, tasty wheat beer actually.

On tap at Zero Degrees, Reading. Bright pale straw in colour with a ring of white head and a lot of carbonation; classic banana and clove aroma; and matching taste to start, with a very spritzy felling in the mouth, then developing some sourness from the wheat; before a crisp, refreshing finish. A rather good crystal weizen.

Keg at the brewpub, London. Pours hazy yellow with a fine, white cream head. Lots of banana and wheat on the nose, esters, bubblegum. Light to medium sweet flavor with bready wheat, lightly dried banana, yeasty dough. Light to medium bodied with high, explosive carbonation. Moderately sweet finish, light dry pale malts, yeasty dough, wheat, light banana. Good stuff, though not a stunner or anything.
