Can from the lcbo. Dark brown, small off white head. Aroma is roasty, semi sweet, might cocoa and coffee. Mouth feel is very thin and watery, with a standard carb. Roasty finish, watery, light coffee. Meh.

Can @ Elgin Beer Project. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, little coffee, chocolate and hops. Light bitter roasty finish.

Part of their Winter Sampler Pack of 4 cans. Cola-looking with a big frothy, beige head with good stay and loads of dirty, sticky lacing. Roasted malts, chocolate malts, with hints of coffee, hops and nuttiness. The taste is where the chocolate notes comes out blended with the vanilla. Some nice sweetness lingers with mild hops. When I started this beer, was not looking too good, but as it goes, it does get better. A good mocha stout.

A deep dark stout with a thin lacing mocha head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with light mocha coffee, chocolate, light nutty notes, pleasant. In mouth, sweet chocolate malt with light coffee notes, herbaceous hops, OK. On tap at brewery.

This stout poured a deep dark amber colour with a creamy tan coloured head. Scents include caramel, molasses, coffee and little rum? First swig was smooth with a little more carbonation than I'm used to in a stout. Flavours of coffee and burnt toast most prominent. A little thin for a stout but great tasting anyway. Finish is nice and burnt with coffee flavour lingering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tasting at Matt’s; can; 5.5% ABV
Dark brown color. No head. Smell of acetaldehyde. Some caramel, perfumy artificial vanilla chocolate flavor. Undrinkable.

500mL can, pours red-tinted dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is definitely off, with perfume, some light tartness, and burnt rubber. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of burnt rubber, cocoa, perfume and light tartness. What a disaster. It's actually hilarious how bad this is. What are they thinking releasing this shit?

Nice balance, nice interaction of ingredients. Vanilla, mocha, dark chocoloate. Has well-integrated coffee aroma here. Bitter finish with a dab of sweetness. Very good. Sampled at the Winterbrewed festival in Ottawa.
