Hazy deep amber beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and crispy. Light malts, little thin cream. Floralness, Estery sweet almond, strong but not unpleasant. Mild spice. Light semi dry finish. Different!

The new name of their Straffen Toeback but essentially the same thing. A ’quattro’, as they call it themselves, with a sticky, creamy head and clear orange blond colour. Aroma of grassy and resinous hops, grapefruit, orange peel, honey, rosewater; subdued fruity taste with citrus freshness, bitter honeyish malts and a powerfully hopped, long, dry finish. Almost an IPA in style - but not quite there yet.

Clear golden with amber hue and small off-white head. Taste is lots of Belgian yeast, cloves, dried fruits, lots of spices with some herbal and flowery bitterness. Medium sweet malts with a light roasted touch. Medium bodied.

Slank for bølgehøyden.

BB 12.2014, 0,33L bottle. Pours golden with huge white head. The head stays. Aroma is very intense, has a lot of fresh fruits, apples, sourness. Taste is sweet honey, fresh fruits, yeast, and alcohol. The finish is fruity with sour and some hoppy bitterness. Overall: not too complex, but rather nice and refreshing beer for the ABV. The sweetness may be little too much for some, but I don’t mind it.

Nose - burnt oranges Taste - more butnt oranges plus some spice and a bit of cream in the background. Palate - medium to full bodied. Well hidden alcohol. Nice tangy texture. Dry tangy finish Overall - yes good beer and scarily drinkable at 9.5%.
