Bottle with original ’ straffe toeback ’ Cellar leftover , 2010 vintage i supose Pours light amber / blonde , no real foam About 90 % of the bottle is sediment Smell is buttery , aged ( in a bad way ) Too high carbo . Sweet , sugar , bitter .dry and boozy back Meh

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, sugar, yeast, alcohol and some fruits. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long warm and fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. A clear one, golden on color and with a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma is quite sweet and spiced, white sugar, generic fruityness and some piney, grassy hoppyness. Sugary, fruity and spiced flavor too, with a decent level of bitterness. Full to medium body, pleasant carbonation level, quite dry. Pleasant bitterness towards the end. A bit sweetish this one, but tasteful and pleasant anyway. 130928

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin white head. The aroma is yeasty and nutty. The flavour is strong alcohol bitter with liqourice and big yeast on the palate. The alcohol domintes this beer and it’s starting to ruin it for me and the finish is not pleasant. The alcohol is not well controlled and I would not buy another.

Super cloudy golden and honey straw coloured body with a thin, two centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of yeast, coriander seed, curacao, hay, grass and some nice sweetness. Medium-bodied; Assertive yeast and grassy flavours with a little herbal note, some light sugars and a good dry lightly spicey finish. Aftertaste shows some yeast and sweetness, but the taste is relatively mild with only the light spices and dryness coming through - very nice - this is more of a saison and tripel blend with loads of alcohol. Overall, great to try and definitely worth getting if you can find it! I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from de HopDuvel in Gent, Belgium for €1,65 sampled in my hotel room here in Bruxelles, Belgium on 19-August-2013.

Bottle from Berts Bierhuis. Slightly hazy golden colour, off-white head. Aroma is yeasty, citric, light malty, flowery. Flavour is malty, fruity and yeasty. Some spices, a light bitterness, medium carbonation. Bitter finish.
