8/5/7/4/16=4.0/5.0

Tasting at Matt’s
Cloudy blond color, generous head. Very nice funky character, smooth and highly carbonated, a bit vinous (white wine), and very moderate sourness. Very nice.

650mL bottle, pours a cloudy opaque golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma is very complex, with lovely brett notes upfront, followed by oak and white wine barrels. Flavour is very complex and well-balanced, with a lovely bretty funk upfront, followed by subtle oak and white wine, and only a subtle tartness. Excellently blended, with a great use of brett and oak. Really nice.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy dark orangey color ale with a super large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of rustic malt notes with some light dry Bretty notes with strong peppery yeast notes. Taste is a superb mix of rustic malt notes with some strong peppery yeast note and a dry Bretty finish with light oak notes. Body is full with great carbonation. Superb mix of complexity and drinkability.
