Draught at Red Racer Restaurant, Vancouver
Hazy golden color, small head. Evident aroma of Sorachi Ace, lemon cake, but apparently the Sorachi Ace we got in BC is not like the one that I knew years ago, in Europe, not as strong. The mouthfeel is very dry, it goes well with the biscuity malts, and the strong bitterness; nice resiny and lemony hops, for a long final.
Very good.

On tap at Central City on Beatty, pours a pale dull copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of biscuity malt and very light British hopping. Flavour is along the same lines, with notes of British hops and fairly dry bready malt. A touch of citrus. Nothing exciting, but it's well-done for what it is.
