On tap. Pours a muddy dark brown with light tan head. Aromas of fruity chocolate. Flavors of acidic cherry skins and milky chocolate with a bit if roasted malts. Not complementary and off balance. A miss

Draft - Roast malts with the slightest cherry note. Jet black brown with a small beige head. Roasty, sweet and some cherry sourness. Finish is bitter, sweet and sour. Cherry makes this a touch medicinal.

Draught at Red Racer Restaurant, Vancouver
Black color with tan compact head. Not too roasty, not too dry, with an evident sour side, from the Cherries probably. Balanced.
Given the target, it’s well brewed, but I don’t believe in the target.

Draught @ Red Racer. Dark brown with a bubbly head. The aroma has light cherry, dark bitter chocolate, nice balance, the cherry is subtle. A second tasting found it a bit tarter, more than I might like.

On tap at Central City on Beatty, pours black with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out lightly tart dark cherries and medium roast. Flavour is along the same lines, with lightly tart dark cherries, some roast and toasted malt. Quite dry, with a nice balance of cherries and malt character. Solid.
