On tap. Pours a clean red mahogany with moderate head. Aromas of dry toasted malts and light pine/citrus. Flavors of limes, grapes, toasted malts and acidic bitter pine. A bit chaotic without intent.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Dark amber to brown color, clean. The aroma is mild: bready, caramelly, earthy. The mouthfeel is lean, fairly dry; some dark caramel flavor, the earthy character is strong, as is the bitterness; but I don’t get much malt or hop quality. A bit too roasty and dusty in the final.
Then, I would actually prefer a maltier Brown Ale than a hoppy one, if this is the result.
Average beer.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out notes of resinous hops, toasted nuts and bready malt. Flavour is rather muted, with toasted nuts upfront, followed by resinous hop oils and toasted caramel. Not really sure what they were going for here, as it's a little confused and jumbled. Not abrasive in any way, but a little disharmonious. Off the mark, but drinkable.

Light brown with a thin head. Aroma is woody hops. Sweeter palate, good balance with medium bitterness. The strength shows through a bit towards the finish.

Draft - Light citrus and nice malts. Dark, Clearish Amber with a decent white head. Dark fruit and a bit of cocoa with citrus hops. Odd, but nice.
