Draught at the source: pours slightly hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is lactic acid and citrus. Taste is moderately sour. Nice fruity notes. Good.

The beer is a very pale gold. Medium fizzy white head. The bubbles fizzle away quickly. The beer is surprisingly clear, hard to see any haze at all. The aroma has a rich, fruity lacto flavor. Big lemon, tangerine, melon, pineapple, kiwi. Floral note. Some light, fresh malt flavor. Taste is moderate to medium tart, though not harshly so. Just tart yogurty lacto flavor. Fruit shows up. Moderately dry. Nice and soft feel. Light but fairly creamy. Very refreshing. No off flavors, which trips up a lot of berliners. There’s already an excellent level of fruitiness, but I would love to try a fruited version of this beer.

Poured from a 03/2016 bottle. Aroma is nice with some lemon, pineapple and other citrus notes. Some medium light wheat notes. A light, grassy, herbal note. Pretty nice, candied lemon note. Pours a hazy, bright, yellow straw color with a medium large, frothy, thick white head that recedes somewhat quickly to a thin film that lingers. No lacing or legs. Flavor has a moderate acidity with some medium light sweetness. Light grain notes. Some light citrus and berry notes with a touch of tropical fruits. No bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium light to light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, I like this Berliner. Nice citrus and fruit notes with some light grain character. Acidity isn’t too assertive, but is still ever present and mouth watering.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a very owe yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is pleasant with lemon water, hints of honeydew and citric acid. The flavor is very sour with lots of lemon. Hints of parsley and acid, but not above my offensive threshold. Light bodied. A bit over soured for my tastes with all the things that go along with that. Ok.

Draft - Vegetal notes with a touch of soap and lemon acidity. Cloudy yellow with almost no head. Tart and dry much like the nose. A bit too much of all the qualities of the style. I would dial it back a bit.

A lightly hazed blonde Weisse with a thin white head. In aroma, loads of acidity, light lemony notes , light Epsom salts, very nice and classic. In mouth, a nice sweet tart apples with light acidity, light mineral notes, lemon juice, Epsom salts, very nice. On tap at brewery.
