Deep dark brown coloured body with a super rich, four centimetre tall rich brown head and a body thats about 95% opaque. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, milk, cream, lactose, smoke, licorice, anise and pure carbon (burnt anything). Full-bodied; Very rich creamy mouthful with a lot of lactose and roasted malts up front showing some oatmeal and grain. Cream and coffee follow behind with some noticeable licorice and anise as well. Aftertaste is deep and pungent with a lot of the alcohol still showing through, some lactose and cream and finishing with the bunches of roasted malt and coffee. Overall, a very nice imperial stout with a lot of milk flavours, some coffee and a ton of roast - deep and super rich without being too cloying. I sampled this thirty two ounce growler fill for a bit too much of US$15,99 at the Perfect Pour in Columbia, Maryland on 19-February-2016, sampled at home in Washington later in the day.

Bomber. Pours a almost pitch black color with medium light brown head. A huge coffee nose. Rich vanilla, sweet milky coffee, some chocolate. This is a very big coffee beer, and quite nice. I could drink this for breakfast, but honestly, I could do that with most beers:) Anyway, sweet, flavorful, would be nice on cask.

Bottle from Super Deli Mart, Seattle
Black color, small creamy beige head. Very nice aroma of dark chocolate and coffee. Bold body, moderately sweet, it has a strong dark chocolate flavor, with some coffee, and rather salty too; moderate roasty flavor.
A bit inelegant, but very good.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out a good mix of coffee and cocoa -- maybe a touch of roast. Flavour is similar, bringing out a nice mix of chocolate and coffee vying for frontrunner. A touch of roast in there too. Nice mix of flavours. Very good.

A deep dark stout with a thin dark brown head. In aroma, sweet vanilla chocolate malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, light licorice, pleasing and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with light coffee notes, resinous and piney hops, light resinous mouth feel, alcohol warmth, very nice and smooth. On tap at CNY Brewfest 2016.

Bottle. Dark brown color with a creamy tan head. Nose is heavy chocolate and light coffee, roast. Tastes like a brownie was infused with espresso. Mostly sweet, but in the perfect way. Light roast, mostly thick brownie batter. Really enjoyed this.
