On tap at Old Ivy, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium toasted malt and a hint of dry cocoa. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted malt, some dark fruits and light dry cocoa powder. Nicely constructed, with a dark fruity finish. Solid.

On tap @ Både &. Black body with a rather small, lacing tan head. Nice aroma of dark, roasted malt, coffee and some dry fruit. Flavor is medium sweet dark roasted malt with coffee, dark chocolate, some dry fruit and medium bitterness. Fine balanced body and smooth, pleasant, slightly dry aftertaste. Nothing complicated, but a solid, pleasant, classic Porter. Highly enjoyable.

On tap at Både&. It pours a next to black body under a minimal sized beige head. Mostly roasted aroma, with dark dried fruits, coffee grit and a hoppy hint. It’s full to medium bodied with a very soft carbonation. Roasted malts coffee, dark chocolate, prunes, a touch of malty sourness, some bonfire, ahs quite a lot of licorice showing up towards the finish. Easy drinkable, tasteful and pleasant, but I’d prefer a tad more carbonation. 160123
