Tap. Amber color with beige head. Aroma is peat, caramel. Taste is smoky, caramel, earthy, a bit herbal. Oily mouthfeel, low carbonation. Well-made and tasty!

Note: well, weird, apparently most of my ratebeer buddies already had this one, but seems like I've missed it each Borefts festival. :p
Clear amber beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very very peated, smoky, more peat, bit sweet, caramel, pretty oxidised. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: all peat, that's pretty much it, yeah. Maybe some smoke bitterness, slightly sourish, but mainly all peat. Aftertaste: bitter touch, malty, some caramel, bitter, very peated finish.

Dec. ’16. On tap at Be.Re, Rome, with ippopotamo36. It poured a hazy brown body with medium sized head. Very smoked aroma, bacon, fireplace wood, peat. Nice. Very nice flavor as well, strong, smoked, yet creamy. Lightly sweet and sour, peat, smoked cheese and bacon, with very elegant cocoa and chocolate malt. Showed some secondary flavors as it opened up, with dried fruits and earthy, peppery spices. Medium bodied with long finish that followed the flavor pretty much to detail. Complex, very smoked yet balanced. Simply loved it.

Bottle shared by VsXsV at RBWG: Poured a light brown with a tan head. Aroma super smokey. Taste was nice smokey and malt blend. An amazing smoke beer.

Bottled 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him and kajser27. Dark amber coloured, medium sized beige head, pure peaty nose. Toasted malt, heavy peaty, smoke, notes of fruits and smoked bacon with light acidity near the finish. Not bad at all.

Unclear, deep amber with red hue, medium frothy beige head. Aroma is of very strong peat, burnt plastic, some smoked meat. Taste is medium sweet malt, some caramel, very peaty, again burnt plastic, burnt notes, some smoked meat, medium phenolic smoky and roasty bitterness, dry finish, some acidity, strong peat aftertaste. HUGE thanks omhper for bringing this - one of my favorite breweries! Shared with ogivlado and kajser. Murky ruby-brown body, small, lasting off white head. Huge smoked aroma, peaty, salty bacon, light plastic, fresh. Lovely bacon notes! Earthy, smokey taste, heavy flavor on a medium to light body, which kinda does balance them out, ashy, roasty, peaty, wow! Salty bacon continues on into the taste. Vague herbal/fruity touch underneath. Superb, just superb, unusual even for a smoked beer, drinkable, remarkably drinkable for both the taste and the style. Fantastically crafted beer!

Draft sample @ Haand fest ’16, Drammen. Shared with the Norwegian tasting crew. Ambrée, col crémeux beige. Arôme montre de suite les signes de whisky, plein de tourbé et de sous-bois rappelant un peu ce côté mousse-bog tourbière marécage. Cendre, feu de cheminé avec un rétro complexe de baies. Palais offre un côté tourbe plaisant, malté, cara pâle, pils, petite amertume houblonnée en rétro. Whisky perdurant sans être trop dominant, le tout conservant ce côté herbacé et baies - genévrier.
