From bottle @ BBF 2011. Deep dark brown color. Very malty aroma with oak and whisky notes. Very sweet, almost sugary flavor with dried fruit, caramel and whisky notes. A little bit too much of everything.

Sample at Borefts '11. This fell a bit short between all the heavy beers served at this festival. Spicy black beer with quite a whisky kick. Like the regular better.

Bottle, 2011 vintage. Opaque black liquid with small to medium tan head. Aroma of chili, wood, whisky, coffee, licorice and light ash. Taste is light sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of toast, light ash, light chili and whisky. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Decent but probably too old.
