Aroma is a bit spicy and sweet. The flavour has that balance too. Has a mild acidity. Good thirst quencher, nothing more than that.

Draft @ ZBF’12. Especially made for St Bernardus café opening in Tokyo. A Belgian wit meets a triple?

Draft @ ZBF 2012 // very hazy (milky) wheat / golden coloured / off-white head // smell is very heavy on the yeast, raw, almost going more to soapy than fruity, very heavy on the coriander, wheat // tastes like this still needs maturing, raw, unfinished, still very yeast heavy, unpolished, yeast dominates, heavy on coriander, creamed wheat, still almost soapy, touch fruity, small hint of banana // body is also dominated by the yeast // this is probably still maturing & aging, not close yet to the balance & goodness that their “Wit” is

Very cloudy murky beige beer, big creamy cream coloured head, very stable, very adhesive. Aroma: lots of the typical St. Bernard yeast, some citrus, lemon, bit of grains, maybe wheat? MF: low carbon, medium to full body, bit creamy thick texture. Taste: bit sour, wheaty, citrus, grains. Aftertaste: more sourness, wheat again, citrus, herbal bitterness, long lasting. This is like a mixture of the St. Bernardus Tripel and the Wit.
