Great aroma of citrus, yeast, and a tad bit of funk that i would lend to the hops, but it mellows out. The alcohol is present, and is quite dry in the finish.

Draft - Lots of banana esters and some citrus. Clearish gold with a decent white head. Sweet estery yeast and a light bitter and dry finish.

Draught, 9.9% at the brewpub. Mild spicy aroma, coriander. Seemingly clear orange colour. Very small creamy tan head. Good mouthfeel, like a rye beer. Bready flavour, also a bit like rye, rye bread perhaps. The finish is slightly vinous. Late bitterness.

A copper red ale with a very thin off white head. An intense aroma of butterscotch and tracle, and wild grass. In mouth, a rather herbal interpretation with solvents, fusel alcohol, a bit harsh. On tap at brewpub, August 6 2010.

(tap) clear amber colour with small whitish head; aroma starts with caramel then more sweet and funky notes; balanced flavour, not bad but not much real Trappist character
