Can at the crown and beaver in North Bay. Malty, caramel, light toffee, lots of pine resins and light candied citrus peel. Mouth feel and carb are solid. Finish is very hitter, loads of pine.... Old school ipa. Not bad, but not great either.
A dark golden DIPA with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, caramel malt with light resinous hops, light dank notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous hops, cereals, pleasant. On tap at brewery.

Can: Poured a clear amber color ale with a nice large foamy head with good retention and some lacing notes. Aroma of citrusy malt with malt notes is enjoyable with some bitter notes that can de distinguish. Taste is a mix of citrusy hops notes with light resinous notes with some caramelized malt and some residuals sugar notes. Body is pretty full for style with good carbonation. Enjoyable thought a bit more old-school that what I now seek in IIPA.

Draft - Light caramel, sweet grains and a touch of vegetal note. Clear copper with a decent beige head. Sweet caramel, booze and bitter. Not that great.
