We brew this trippel with a Trappist yeast strain to hold true to the traditional style. The flavors are incredibly complex with notes of mild fruit that finish with just a bit of clove. Although this beer has a slightly higher ABV, you will find it finishes very smooth and dry on the palette. This makes for a perfect summer sipper.

Flaske 0,355l - fortært i heimen. Lys gylden. Lavt skum. Litt uklar. Beskjeden fruktig aroma. Anonym smak: Litt mandler & frukt men anonymt helhetsinntrykk. Tilløp til syrlighet i avslutninga. KI=3

Purchased at Armanetti’s in Chicago, IL; enjoyed while watching week 11 of Monday Night Football. Appearance a rich dark gold with a thin white head an many little yeasties floating around. Aroma of clove, hint of Belgian yeast, banana, light fruit. Taste is syrupy, sweet, smooth, cloves and banana, fruit, there’s definitely a lot going on with this, unique flavor. Good stuff, there’s better out there but it’s good.

Pours a slightly cloudy deep golden color with a smallish tightly bubbled white head that displays moderate retention. Smells of sweet malt and candy sugar, slightly spicy and peppery with some Belgian yeasty esters. Taste starts off sweet and malty with some sweet candy sugar that slowly gives way to some peppery spicy notes. Finish is a long lingering spicy earthy Belgian yeast kind of thing. Medium body and level of carbonation with a sweet slick mouthfeel. Decent triple ale but not my favorite. This really needs more of a sweet malt backbone to stand up to the spicy peppery flavors at work here.

12 oz bottle. Orange almost brown color. Used a tulip glass. Small ring of white head. No lace. Nose gives an apricot fruit, sugar and caramel aromas, very nice and enticing. Flavor is also pretty sweet and fruity, with caramel malts, yeast, wheat, lots of fruit and brown sugar. Medium-bodied, with a sticky mouthfeel. Body is medium, light CO 2. Very easy to drink. Maybe a bit sweet for some people, but NOT for me. I like it. Well done!

Bottle. A hazy, golden beer topped by a small, creamy, off-white head. Fruity-sweet aroma, like when opening a can of peaches, with hints of mouldy cellar and alcohol. Sweet and fruity flavor with alcohol and some bitterness. Something strange too, but just a faint note. Full-bodied and a tad warming. Fruity and bitter finish. An unusual and nice tripel. 110107

Medium white head. Amber hazy body with huge number of floaties. Papery fruity peach aroma with toffee and alcohol notes. Dry-sweet earthy papery fruity taste with tobacco and earth notes. Mid-bodied. Mild mouthfeel. Dryish peach and tropical fruit aftertaste with bitter dandelion end. It’s decent, but not great. Flawed in some ways. (0.33l bottle, wine monopoly Vika, Oslo.)
