Tap at 3 Brewers Heartland Deep golden color bordering on amber with a rich white head that persists. Old school feel with lots of bready caramel and bits of citrus and pine to counter. Nothing earth shattering but easy drinking.

Draft: Poured a deep amber color ale. Aroma of caramelized malt with light bitter hops notes. Taste is mostly a mix of light caramelized malt with dry hoppy notes and medium bitterness. Body is about average with OK carbonation. Short on hops character but no flaws to report.

Draft - Orange peel and some astringency. Clear gold with a nice white head. Bitter tea leaves, wet grass and a long bitter finish.

Draught @ Les 3 Brasseurs, Montreal, QC
Pours clear amber with a off-white head. Aroma had notes of malt, caramel, citrus and grass. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long malty, caramel and bitter finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft

On tap at the brewpub. A hazy, glowing amber colored beer topped by a dense, off-white, finger-thick head. The aroma has some butterscotch notes, with toffee, pine cones, resins and citrus zest. There’s a nice bitterness in the flavor, hints of dms, and a nice touch of citrus zest and pine cones. Full-bodied, semi-dry and nicely carbonated. Long finish. A decent one, but not all clean. 150612

On tap at The 3 Brewers bar in Toronto. Bright golden amber; caramel and citrus aroma; earthy malt taste with a dry, woody finish.

Draught, Yonge St. Light amber and very bright. Aroma is balance hop and some slightly sweet malt and a dash of lemon. Sweetish malts, clean, a touch of syrupy character, touch of bitterness. A little basic.

Actually not entirely bad. Lacks body, but at least it’s well balanced. Pours cloudy orange with ok lacing and head. Some light citrus hops and malt. Average carbonation and slightly bitter. Tap at Funds brewpub.
