A deep dark stout with a very thin dark brown head. In aroma, bitter sweet chocolate with coffee grind, musty character, alcohol warmth, licorice, very nice. In mouth, a nice bitter chocolate with coffee grind, musty character, light licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice.

Bottle: Poured a black color porter with a large light brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of smooth floral coffee notes with light roasted malt is quiet nice. Taste is mostly dominated by smooth floral coffee notes with no bitterness, some light toasted malt with hints of lactose. Body is light with good carbonation. Solid porter with nice selection of coffee and limited bitterness and no astringency.

Black color with medium head. Aroma of boutique coffee, cardboard, bread, old furniture, dark chocolate. The mouthfeel is very dry, but it blends the coffee and dark chocolate very well; weak final structure.
Very good.

650mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out loads of fresh coffee, a touch of cocoa and roast. Flavour is rich, with loads of fresh coffee, accentuated with minor cocoa and roast notes. The coffee is used so well in this. Lots of depth, with just the right body. Excellent.

Bottle - Great cold pressed coffee. Deep brown with a decent brown head. Dark chocolate and coffee with nice roast. Nice with a huge focus on coffee.

You’ll never really find me craving coffee-infused beers, but I’ll always give the a try and this is a good one. (Plus it was interesting to see what the crew at Bellwoods chose as their favourite homebrew.) An inky black with dark tan head, what you’d expect from a porter, though the head dissipates rather quickly. Nose is heavy on the dark roast coffee, with some mild sweetness that obscures the malts. The taste Is a really well balanced fusion of porter and beer. It certainly doesn’t pull any coffee punches, with a heavy roast without excessive coffee bitterness, with blackberries, as well the porter malt is well-supported in the flavour with more of a caramel richness without any unpleasant burn grain that is so common. Worth the try if you can get some.
